Revealing Power of the Beautiful Hands of the Burden Lifter!

Since my last post on the 'WMCIP' blog, it has been over four months. I am in awe of the time that has slipped through us. The time that has gone by is a reminder of the passion on the inside of most mom's to hold on to that small child that we met on the day of their birth, or the day we first laid eyes on the one whom God chose for you to love from another womb.

As the school year draws to a close; it would be great if your a follower of our blog, or stopping by for a visit to post a comment of a request(s) you committed to the Lord, that was once a burden. It would be great to see the unfolding and revealing power of the beautiful Hands of the Burden Lifter...Almighty God!

I love the 'praise reports' that we must declare. It is truly a reminder of knowing that even in the midst of the declaration of our God, all we may see with our natural eye is weighty which attempts to draw us away from utilizing the faith on the inside and seeing with the eyes of faith how much Greater our God is than anything that would attempt to come against us. It is easier to write than to do; but in the time when we continually praise our God no matter our situation, we build up ourselves on the inside with a stirring that rushes like an overflowing river that no one can place a boundary around! Hallelujah!

I love my sisters that the Lord has gifted me in the 'Warrior Mom's of Christ in Prayer' circle! I thank each of you for your love, support and time as we purposely get together knowing who we are because of Who He is!

Reflections On Our Last Meeting!

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."
~ Colossians 3:16 ~

The Year 2010 is now here! I am 'wowed' beyond belief of how fast time flies 'right through us'.

I am honored to share of what took place at our last 'get together' in November, 2009. It was such a blessing and we are going to continue with this as the Lord leads.

We were truly provoked to share those 'favorite' verses from the Word of God that we cling to no matter what we are going through. As we came together, prepared and ready to share, tears came to my eyes to see the transforming power of God's Word, which does not and will never return void. God's Word constantly returns with great power, indescribable to even articulate.

On Wednesday, November 18th, we came together, pouring our coffee and cream, sipping with great delight. We came together to the King, Almighty God as we prayed committing our time to Him.

It began with Mollie. We were all blessed by her stirring passion from within and the preparation that she put forth to share for the glory of God. It stirred each one of us with great passion for our God. She shared with us a beautiful hymn that is very dear to her heart. A favorite hymn that they sing at their church...

"For All The Saints Hymn"
By: William How, 1864
(Not all the verses have been included)

"For all the saints, who from their labors rest,
Who Thee by faith before the world confessed,
Thy Name, O Jesus, be forever blessed.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

Thou wast their Rock, their Fortress and their Might;
Thou, Lord, their Captain in the well fought fight;
Thou, in the darkness drear, their one true Light.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

For the Apostles’ glorious company,
Who bearing forth the Cross o’er land and sea,
Shook all the mighty world, we sing to Thee:
Alleluia, Alleluia!

For the Evangelists, by whose blest word,
Like fourfold streams, the garden of the Lord,
Is fair and fruitful, be Thy Name adored.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

For Martyrs, who with rapture kindled eye,
Saw the bright crown descending from the sky,
And seeing, grasped it, Thee we glorify.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

O blest communion, fellowship divine!
We feebly struggle, they in glory shine;
All are one in Thee, for all are Thine.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

O may Thy soldiers, faithful, true and bold,
Fight as the saints who nobly fought of old,
And win with them the victor’s crown of gold.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

And when the strife is fierce, the warfare long,
Steals on the ear the distant triumph song,
And hearts are brave, again, and arms are strong.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

The golden evening brightens in the west;
Soon, soon to faithful warriors comes their rest;
Sweet is the calm of paradise the blessed.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

But lo! there breaks a yet more glorious day;
The saints triumphant rise in bright array;
The King of glory passes on His way.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

From earth’s wide bounds, from ocean’s farthest coast,
Through gates of pearl streams in the countless host,
And singing to Father, Son and Holy Ghost:
Alleluia, Alleluia!"

Mollie continued to share so beautifully and passionately as she reflected on God's Word. The scripture she shared from were the following:
Hebrews 12:1-3
Revelation 2:10
Revelation 14:13
Revelation 17:14
It was so powerful as tears streamed down my face of the awesomeness of God revealed by the Word she had shared!

Another beautiful mom, whom I also adore; is Jeanne~Mari. She and her husband are youth pastors, which is an amazing story in and of itself. She shared from her heart Hebrews 11:1 and Romans 12:1&2. She so beautifully spoke of being a living sacrifice and trusting God.

After Jeanne~Mari shared, wonderful Rachel shared from Matthew 6. It was so beautiful how her heart revealed the desire to truly trust God remembering that she would be taken care of. Not to worry, as she is constantly reminded that God will provide all our needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.

I also got to share one of my favorite scriptures II Timothy 2:20-21. I was allowed to share how on truly making the choice to be what He has made me to be...a vessel of honor, set apart and useful for the Master prepared for every good work.

I am truly blessed beyond my wildest imaginations that God would place such a core group of women together with different backgrounds and 'denominations'. The true Denominator with all of us is that we believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and have accepted His Powerful, Awesome Gift of Salvation by the shedding of His blood, giving us His life and in turn the Power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead obliterated the gripping hold of death, hell and the grave.

Lord, I am so ever grateful for these precious women. Your daughters that are equipped by Your Mighty Right Hand!

Thank you for the fire of You to spread throughout this district to see more mom's rising up on behalf of the gifts you have given us...our children! May be their voice and may we always seek out Your righteousness and be moved by Your Spirit! In Jesus Mighty, Majestic, Holy, Powerful, Indescribable Name! Amen!

Dedicate 2009-2010 School Year to You O Lord!

As Warrior Mom's starts up again for another school year, I am geared up to meet with my sisters in the Lord!

We are here for a purpose in this season of our children's lives. I pray the legacy of our faith in God would transcend through the generations to come.

Thank you Lord for the opportunity to pray for our children, teachers, faculty and families. As we pray for them, thank you for Your All-Consuming Fire to burn up any assignments against our families, schools and our bodies. May your purposeful assignments be the only ones to flourish and prosper.

We love you Lord and we dedicate this school year to you Father. Thank you for revealing any deceptions, plans of the enemy before they can come to fruition. May we be senstive to Your Spirit in Jesus Name!

We commit the school year of 2009-2010 to You Father! Hallelujah!

Fellowship

Three women getting together, in unity, enjoying each other's fellowship and getting to pray to God together, now that is truly rewarding and fun!

It's amazing to tangibly see the Hand of God at work, before we even send forth our requests. God knows our needs, before we do. He not only knows, He provides. He may not provide in the time frame we think He should or the way we think He will, but He does provide. His timing is ALWAYS perfect and more than we could ever imagine, hope for or think.

The Lord is awesome all the time! Today, as I had a headache, all I wanted to do was lie down and do nothing. I didn't feel like praying nor did I want to pray. However, the Holy Spirit challenged me...praise ME right now, on purpose. Magnify My Name as what you are going through is "de"-magnified. Wow! The praising Him was a "miracle" in and of itself...that headache went away within 10 minutes and that heavy feeling was lifted off of me.

I thank the Lord that in that moment of weariness, His "anecdote" was to praise Him, and the result was powerful. Whether, the headache went away or not, my mind and heart were now focused on Him and not, guess who? Me.

I know it sounds so elementary, but yet it is so profound.

"We can either fear the storm, or choose to dance in the rain...you'll be amazed by the ONE who leads."

January 10, 2009

Wow, time has flown right through us!

We are meeting back together the first time this year on Thursday, January 15th at 8 am.

Everyone is bringing a breakfast dish....so if you want to join us please do so! We would love to have you!

I am excited to hear the praise reports!

It is awesome to see the Lord working as He does so majestically and powerfully! I am in awe of how many people in the particular school district we are in, including teachers and staff who have a relationship with Jesus Christ! That is what is great about the prayer group, it is coming together, no matter the denominational church we attend. The walls come down as we worship, praise and declare the awesomeness of our God through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit!

Lyrics to 'Let The Walls Come Down'
by Steve Green

All throughout the spirit realm a fearsome battle rages
The fates of men and nations hang suspended in the fray
Walls designed by satan in the twilight of the ages
Now stand as great divisions all across the world today
Walls not born of government nor strife amid the nations
But walls within our churches and between denominations
Stones of dry tradition carved in fear and laid in pride
Become a dismal prison to those withering inside

Chorus
Let the walls come down
Let the walls come down
Let the walls that divide us
And hide us come down
If in Christ we agree
Let us seek unity
Let the walls
Let the walls come down
Let the walls
Let the walls come down

The body weak and powerless, crippled by division
The victim of a tragic and most cruel civil war
Brother fighting brother over culture and tradition
While countless lost and dying lie as casualties of war
It's time to end the foolishness of warring with each other
And kneel in true repentance that our union be restored
May we then as brothers rally round the cross of Jesus
And carry on with diligence the mission of our Lord

Chorus
Oh children of God
Oh soon to be bride
Let us humble ourselves
And crucify pride
Throw off the flesh
And its pious facade
And unite in the name of God

Chorus

This is a powerful song and rings so true. One of my dad's favorite songs, to constantly remind us of what we don't want to be guilty of.

If you have any prayer requests, praise reports regarding your school, teachers or staff please write us at wmcip@yahoo.com

Proverbs 16:3~ "Commit all our ways to the Lord and He will make it successful."
Proverbs 3:5-6~ "Trust in the Lord with ALL your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in ALL your ways acknowledge Him and He WILL direct our paths."

The amazing part of these scripture verses is the ways we may think we should go, He will direct them according to His plan. We may not understand it for a moment and sometimes for a lifetime. However, we must know that the steps we take today, will affect not only our tomorrow, but also our children's tomorrow! So let's make sure that our steps are on His path as we trust in the Lord with and in everything!

It's so hard to do, isn't it? But if we keep our focus on the King of kings and the Lord of lords, our Jesus and praise Him on purpose, whether it be our actions, or our words or both, we will find that His grace is sufficient for us! We will look back and be amazed at how He has brought us through as we spoke blessing over those situations, even when the people or circumstances were driving us to speak otherwise!

As I have been looking at pictures of the stars, the galaxies, the moon, the universe that goes on for eternity, then I look at the creatures of the deep sea, the beasts of the field in the remote places of Africa. Just our earth itself, it literally paralyzes my mind to even fathom that we are so blessed to be able to have a relationship through Jesus Christ with our Father God who created all of those things that I see, let alone the things I have not seen! Wow! He is MORE than WORTHY to be praised!

Psalm 104 is a glimpse of what I described...to even step into a glimpse of the awesomeness of God, you literally must bless His holy name. As we bless His Holy Name, who is clothed in Majesty, we can somehow worship Him anywhere at any moment and all the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches and the lust of the flesh has no place and has no ability to penetrate the mind at that moment, as the Lord is worshipped in spirit as we are led by His Spirit and in truth...who is truth? Jesus Christ!!!!

Be blessed as you read Psalm 104 today! Please write and share with us what you got out of it. Thank you so much for reading the blog and supporting us in prayer unto the Lord God Almighty!

My beliefs...

What a blessing to be able to meet together and fellowship as we have!

Thursday was our 3rd coming together in fellowship...a lot of it...and prayer...

If you have any prayer concerns over your children and/or schools, please notify us via email at wmcip@yahoo.com we would be blessed to pray over those situations and hand those "cares" over to the Lord right along with you!

We continue to pray over our elementary, middle and high school's in our district. If you believe you are to start a prayer group and you have questions or comments, please do not hesitate to call Teresa at (515) 681-2562. It is a blessing and privledge to assist you in any way.

If you are wanting to know what I believe, please read the following:

My beliefs...

* Are that God the Father, God the Son, and God The Holy Spirit are One. I also believe that Jesus came to reveal the Father, and the Holy Spirit has come to reveal the Son, Jesus
(Genesis 1:2 & 26, Matthew 10:20, Matthew 28:19, Luke 24:49, John 1:14, Acts 1 & 2)!

* Are that Jesus is THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE and NO ONE comes to the Father but through JESUS CHRIST. ~ John 14:6, In other words, He is the only way to the Father God.
* Are that the Word of God is the final authority, as Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:14).

* Are that just as Jesus Christ healed on the earth during His ministry as He was always led by compassion, so we too can operate in those gifts by the power of the Holy Spirit.

* Are that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6)

God bless you!
